Dim, Thank you for your commentary on this the reading for the 27th Sunday in Ordinary time, Year A.
From time immemorial cultures have waxed and waned. And your commentary affirms this thought. In our society today, secularism has watered down our Christian values in our society here in the USA. Under the guise of kindness to our fellowman our faith, love God and love your neighbor as yourself, people think they are following the tenets within the Christian faith. Whereas, they find out it is for selfish motives. I pray people of faith recognize the difference between the secular tenets of caring and our Christian example of faith in today’s society.
